Serj Tankian é daqueles caras gênios e loucos. Depois de terminar a banda System of a Down, seu álbum chamado "Elect the Dead" foi produzido por ele, as músicas são composições dele, e inclusive ele que tocou praticamente todos os instrumentos.

O que sempre admirei nele é a facilidade com que ele faz críticas e ironiza o sistema, a sociedade, e o comportamento tosco da humanidade. O clipe de Empty Walls é bem claro, mostrando cenas que já estamos cansados de ver, mas tudo num "formato" de brincadeira de crianças. Fora que a letra é ótima, com destaque para a frase: "Don´t waste your time on coffins today..."
